YUKIMI Teacup - Handmade Ceramic Yunomi - Seto Japan

After the intricate painting, a clear Raku glaze is applied. During the rapid firing and post-firing reduction, the glaze forms a distinctive crazing pattern, allowing smoke to seep into the cracks. This creates those mesmerising, 77 that flow through and enhance the painted design, giving it incredible depth and movement. The result is a vibrant, expressive pattern that evokes an ink painting, imbued with the spontaneous beauty of Raku.
