TSUTA is an aged green tea made with Yabukita tea leaves. Inspired by the practices of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Tokugawa shogunate, who was known to age Shincha harvested in May, this style of tea - called Kuradashi, which refers to tea that has been aged for at least one year.
Certified organic under Japanese Agricultural Standards (JAS). Organic tea leaves are cultivated using only natural methods, resulting in harvests and flavours that change with each season. The effort required to consistently produce high-quality tea in such demanding conditions makes these leaves truly rare and special.

HOW TO ENJOY IT
This Jukusei Fukamushicha (aged deep-steamed green tea) transforms the fresh grassiness of ichibancha (first flush harvest) into a bolder profile with a stronger astringency, making it an excellent choice for green tea lovers who enjoy a stronger taste. Its interesting profile matches amazingly with chocolate (especially the dark ones)!

To keep your tea leaves fresh, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture and odours. Ensure the bag is tightly sealed, and gently press out as much air as possible before closing it.
