Crafted in the storied pottery town of Shigaraki, one of the 6 ancient kilns in Japan, this unique matcha chawan blends form and function with rustic elegance. The bowl features a softly curved spout, offering ease and precision for pouring matcha, ideal for both traditional tea preparation and modern versatility.
Hand-thrown and glazed by Sankirai Kiln, each bowl is one of a kind, celebrating the organic textures and subtle variations that Shigaraki ware is known for.
Each piece is individually handmade, slight variations in colour, shape, and texture reflect its artisanal character.
