AROMA
A warm, nutty, and toasty scent similar to roasted grains or popcorn
TASTE
Harmonious blend of savoury & freshness. A mild, slightly vegetal and a hint of floral notes of the green tea complemented by the full and toasty flavour from the roasted rice. The finish is refreshing with very mild astringent and a hint of sweetness
HOW TO ENJOY IT?
HOW TO ENJOY IT?
Genmaicha is a warm & comforting tea which brews into a bold & golden cup with a heart warming flavour and very mild astringency
- Heat Water: Heat up filtered water, cool it down using a water cooler to 80-85°C (Using water that is too hot will bring out the bitterness in tea)
- Measure Tea: Add 5g (approx. 1-2 teaspoon) of tea leaves per 250ml of water to your teapot
- Steep: Steep for around 1-2 minutes for the 1st infusion. For subsequent infusions, extend the time to around 2-3 minutes
- Pour: Pour the tea into your cup (or back to the water cooler), make sure to get every last drop to prevent the leaves from over-steeping.
- Enjoy: This tea is beautiful on its own

To keep your tea leaves fresh, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture and odours. Ensure the bag is tightly sealed, and gently press out as much air as possible before closing it
