An Eco-Conscious Choice
Our tea bags are made with Soilon, a plant-based, biodegradable biomass material made from corn starch. Free from microplastics and fully compostable, they allow the tea leaves to expand and release their full flavour while remaining gentle on your body and the environment
Our tea sourced from the mist-covered mountains of Gokase, Miyazaki (at an elevation of 600m–700m), this tea is crafted by a legendary farm that has been recognized with Japan’s highest agricultural honour, the Emperor’s Cup (天皇杯), as well as the Prime Minister’s Award. Famous for their dedication to "aroma," they have mastered the art of bringing out the tea's natural perfume without relying on additives.

HOW TO ENJOY IT?
HOW TO ENJOY IT?
Black tea usually needs a higher temperature to fully awaken, but beware that the Japanese black tea is more delicate compare to the English/Indian black tea:
- Heat Water: Heat up filtered water, cool it down using a water cooler to around 85°C
- Place one tea bag into your favourite cup
- Steep: Pour 250ml of hot water over the bag. Let it steep for 2 -3 min watching the water turn a deep, glowing amber
- Remove: Lift the bag out gently (we recommend a second milder brew!)
- Enjoy: Perfect on its own for a moment of calm
This tea is also good for a nice & refreshing cold brew, it's super easy to prepare:
- Place one tea bag into your tumbler
- Top it up with room temperature filtered water
- Put the tumbler into the fridge for 2-3 hours
- Enjoy!
I think that I have a new favourite tea. I found that the flavour of the Organic Yuzu Wakoucha is refreshing and delicious, so much so that after my first cup I had to follow up with a second cup, and now I look forward to each cup. I highly recommend this tea.
