AOI Matcha Powder is a thoughtfully crafted blend of 1st flush Okumidori and Yabukita Tencha leaves, harvest in spring and known for their vibrant colour and rich flavour.
Unlike many non-ceremonial matcha powders on the market that use lower-grade or later-harvest leaves, AOI is made from the same premium, shade-grown Tencha as our ceremonial-grade matcha. The only difference lies in the final sorting process, AOI undergoes slightly less refinement, allowing a few stems and veins to remain which gives it a fuller body, a slightly bolder flavour, and a touch more astringency - making it perfect to enjoy it straight as a punch or a rich flavour lattes and desserts.
AOI contains NO artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or additives - just pure & honest Matcha.
