88th NIGHT is a precious green tea picked exactly 88 days after Risshun (the 1st day of spring on the Japanese calendar). This limited-release Shincha is treasured for both its exquisite flavour and its folklore, there is a long-standing belief that enjoying it brings good health and longevity.
Lovingly nurtured by a family tea farm in Fujieda, Shizuoka—the heart of Japan's tea production—this tea is from a farm that has pioneered organic farming in the region since the 1970s. Certified organic by Japanese Agricultural Standards (JAS), it is cultivated entirely through natural farming methods, ensuring a tea that is as pure as it is delicious.

HOW TO ENJOY IT
88th NIGHT Shincha is praised for its freshness and delicate flavour. We recommend enjoying it as fresh as possible to experience its peak flavour.
- Prepare Water: Heat up 250ml of filtered water to 70°C (158°F)
- Add Leaves: Place 3g of tea leaves into the teapot
- Steep: For the 1st brew, steep for around 1 minute. For the second brew onward, steep for longer
- Pour & Enjoy: Pour into your cup and savour its delicate flavour
